We understand that a lot goes into planning your special event, and you probably have questions. Our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section is designed to provide you with clear answers to common queries about our services.What is the rental rate?
The base rental rate for a private event (think 15-30 people) is $350 for 3 hours. Each additional hour is $100. Hoop Waco is also well-suited to entertain at larger events. Please contact us with more details to accurately assess your needs and the associated pricing. Peak holidays are frequently requested for events and may reflect peak pricing. For most rentals, delivery is $2.50/mi., based from our home base in Hewitt. We also have add-ons available to make your event special and unique to you, such as customized backboards/signage/balls options, an attendant to supervise (either competitive tournaments or rowdy children!), additional yard games to add variety to the fun, and more. We’d be happy to discuss the appropriate add-ons to suit your event and their pricing.
Do you deliver the mobile arcade to any location?
Yes, we deliver the trailer anywhere you'd like within central Texas—think Waco, Woodway, Hewitt, Lorena, Robinson, China Spring, McGregor, Temple, Killeen, Belton, West, Hillsboro, etc. With gas prices these days (and towing a trailer), delivery is $2.50/mi., based from our home base in Hewitt.
What is included in the basic rental package?
The basic rental package includes our custom-built mobile arcade featuring four basketball games.
How do I book Hoop Waco for my event?
You can book us by visiting our website and clicking the "Book Now" button or contacting us directly via phone or email. We also respond to messages on Instagram and Facebook.
Is there a deposit required to reserve a date?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. The other 50% is due 7 days before your event.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy will be detailed in your booking confirmation. Generally, cancellations made within a certain period prior to the event may incur a surrender of your deposit.
Can the mobile arcade be set up indoors?
Yes, our mobile arcade can be set up both indoors and outdoors, provided there is enough space and access for the trailer.
How much space is needed for the mobile arcade?
The space required will depend on the venue layout. We recommend an area that can comfortably accommodate the trailer and allow for safe gameplay. The trailer is 10’ tall, 8.5’ wide and 18’ long.
Do you provide staff to manage the arcade during the event?
We typically arrive to your event 15 minutes early to get set up. Our staff will go over the games and the trailer with you and answer any questions you may have. Then we leave the event and come back at the end of your party. The games and trailer don’t require supervision and should be just fine. Depending on the nature of your event, if you believe an attendant would be an appropriate, we can staff your event accordingly for an additional fee.
What if I need additional hours beyond the initial booking?
3 hours is our minimum, and we have a promotional 4-hour package. Additional hours can be added for $100 per hour. It's best to arrange this in advance, but we may be able to accommodate last-minute extensions depending on availability.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and online payment methods. We will also accept cash or a check. Specific details will be provided during the booking process.
Is there an age requirement for playing the arcade games?
Our arcade games are suitable for all ages, but we recommend adult supervision for younger children to ensure safety. We’ve found 6 years and up is the sweet spot. We have risers available to allow our smallest ballers to join in the fun.
What happens if there’s bad weather?
Hoop Waco will be there rain or shine, provided there is not lightening or safety concerns! If it does rain, the big doors where your guests play are shielded from getting wet. However, if your event is otherwise cancelled or you need to reschedule due to weather, we will look at our calendar and work with you to find a date that works.
Can I book Hoop Waco for corporate events?
Absolutely! Hoop Waco is perfect for corporate events, team-building activities, company picnics, and more.
How far in advance should I book my event?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time, especially during peak seasons. Contact us and we will do our best to fit you in—last minute or for next year!
What days and times do you operate?
Given the nature of this industry, we are flexible to serve daytime or evening events most days. However, as a family-owned Christian business, we attend worship and practice Sabbath as a family on Sundays, so we will generally not be servicing events on Sundays, with consideration for potential drop-off-only exceptions. Please contact us with the specifics of your event, and we will do our best to acommodate your day/time!
